The challenge was to go through all the photos between January and March and then link up Top 5 photos of your children. I've posted some of these before - of course - they are my favs ♥♥♥ (You cannot have enough hearts when posting about your children *lol*)
1. Minea & Tulips: She looks like she would be posing but she isn't. This is how she is ♥ She loves pink, ballet and princesses. She is a serious child and I think I've captured her sensitiveness here.
2. Aamu in the sleep: Gosh I love this pic ♥ Sleeping children are so precious.
3. Minea's pose: She looks a bit older than she is (4 years) and I actually like that it's something different than all the other pics.
4. Aamu's pose: ... she laughs and shows her funny lower teeth :) It is extremely difficult to get her in front of camera, that I tend to like every pick of her.
5. Aamu this winter: This one will remain a memory from this winter and the snow that just wouldn't stop. I love her pink cheeks and the serious face.
I see my pictures are all quite similar set-up. Next quarter I'll be trying something different. More than just close-ups... more everyday life and scenes!
Please check out more cute pics at Quarterly Top 5...
Rainy and grey compined with heavy fog... It didn't matter when I had a good run - the first proper one this year *ashamed*. And yet a Finnish hot sauna. I feel goooood :)
I was so excited about this Texture Tuesday Pink theme. My favourite color ♥ But my shot turn out just "blaah". It's pink, it has my daughter, a flower and some Kim Klassen (& R H West) textures in it. I'm supposed to like it...
Well, like it or not. Yet there are more important things going on. I'm taking this opportunity to remind about another pink issue. Pink Ribbon. I've just donated. Please read more or donate at Pink Ribbon Website
Warning! Serious spring fever and bloom freak out happening in just few weeks! Happiness and enthusiasm for everything combined with some anxiety and manic behaviour. This blog will be full of trees and flowers.
It's all white again cause it snowed last night. Oh come on! At least we have cleaned up the house (properly) and we can actually enjoy staying inside. The youngest one has got a flue with high fever... and we are all tired. This pick is from Minea's room. She really likes her wall with this big colorful tree. It brings us a trifle of joy when days like these try to overtake.
Blue just isn't my favorite color... But sometimes it turns out to be such a beautiful choise. I discovered these blue beauties at the cemetery where I was having a Sunday walk a while ago. I have no idea what they might be. But they sure look beautiful to me ♥
My blogging friends are sharing amazing spring pictures. It seems to me that spring is everywhere in the world - except here! I know I have a month or so to wait for the nature to start green... but where are the birds??? Last week I had a long walk to bird-wathcing tower just to see that they haven't arrived yet :(
(And that's why I had to cheat with my Shadowhouse bird brush...)
I tought I would be totally bored with winter and winter shots by this time... but I happen to like this picture and I haven't been able to link anything with Barn Charm for a long long time :) So here it is. My little winter barn shoot last week - unfortunately not quite springish here yet...
I usually don't do Black&Whites... BUT some things do look better in B&W. Like this simple silhoutte of a tree. I don't find this photo very special... there is nothing technically challenging nor unexpected in it. Yet there is someting about that I really really like... ♥
I realized I haven't introduced this little family member. Meet Princess Ella (who is a poor poser btw).
I also attended Pieni Lintu Photography competition with this photo, so if you happen to like this photo, pls vote for me! Visit the challenge anyway and take a look at those lovely "soft" photos.
Our winter holiday is over :( We had a wonderful week - just our family & just at home enjoying the time together. In the mornings we slept good and looong ♥
I spent three months trying to find red berries from nature to photograph. And did not find. How could I miss this? This beautiful cherry tree just two minutes from our house and I've been passing these red little thins every single day... It must have happened, that spring has arrived and I have waken up? Finally.
This weekend flowers are something I found in snow. It's hard to believe and undestand that plants can survive winters like this has been. Just amazing!
